Linux driver for WM8994 released

A driver for the WM8994 has been released. The WM8994 is a highly integrated ultra-low power hi-fi CODEC designed for smartphones and other portable devices rich in multimedia features. Like all Wolfson audio drivers for Linux this can be obtained from our ASoC page. For more details on the WM8994 please see the main WM8994 product page.

Linux driver for WM8955 released

A driver for the WM8955 has been released. The WM8955 is a low power, high quality stereo DAC with integrated headphone and loudspeaker amplifiers, designed to reduce external component requirements in portable digital audio applications. Linux driver for WM8904 released

A driver for the WM8904 has been released. The WM8904 is a high performance ultra-low power stereo CODEC optimised for portable audio applications, with features including a class W amplifier, FLL with free running mode, Mobile ReTune and ground referenced headphone and line outputs. Wolfson updates in 2.6.32

Version 2.6.32 of the Linux kernel was released today. As well as more our ongoing contributions to the kernel infrastructure this release is also the first to contain drivers for our WM8310, WM8311 and WM8312 PMICs and audio drivers for the WM8523, WM8776, WM8961, WM8974 and WM8993.

A driver for the WM8320, an integrated power-management subsystem specifically targeted at the requirements of a range of low-power portable applications, has just been released. Wolfson updates in 2.6.31

Version 2.6.31 of the Linux kernel was released today. As well as our ongoing contributions to the kernel infrastructure, bug fixes and minor enhancements this release features audio drivers for WM8940, WM8960, WM8988 and WM9081.

Initial Linux drivers for the WM8310, WM8311 and WM8312, a series of integrated power management subsystem devices for low power portable applications, have just been released.
